Terms of service.
No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits are offered for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early. We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance if traveling so that your trip fees will be covered should you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the retreat. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
Although we haven’t had to cancel for low participation yet, we reserve the right to cancel retreats with inadequate participants. In this case all money paid to Sun and Salt Collective will be refunded in full within 3-5 business days of cancellation. Notification of cancellation for this reason will occur at least 1 month prior to retreat start date. Sun and Salt Collective cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations which is why we strongly suggest travel insurance if purchasing airline tickets.
Cancelation Policy
*All Cancelations must be made in writing through email sent to sunandsaltcollective@gmail.com
Cancelations made less than 45 days prior to event start date will not be refunded for any reason.
Cancelations made more than 60 days prior to the events start date will be refunded minus the deposit amount.
A note on Surf Retreats….
Although we are confident that between our personal experience and the experience of our instructors that we will be able to find a suitable break for the surfing portion of the retreat, we cannot 100% guarantee that the surfing portion of the retreat will be fulfilled. This of course is do to the unpredictable nature of the ocean, swells, and weather. Being as we will be accommodating beginner surfers we will not teach lessons if the waves, swell or weather deems too dangerous for your skill level. Experienced surfers are of course welcome judge for themselves and paddle out. We aim to make your time in the ocean challenging, but not scary or dangerous and will do our best to make sure you have a great retreat no matter what.
